UV0002 Replacement Instructions for UV Lamp ("Century" Range MiIIi-Q) The purpose of this document is to provide instructions on how to replace a UV Lamp installed on MiIli-Q Water Purification Systems. These instructions apply to a UV Lamp with NOION AQUA CatalogueNumber UV 0002 (Millipore No.ZMQUVLPO1).
Replacement of the UV Lamp 1. Place the System into STANDBY Mode. Turn off the electrical power to the system. 2. Remove the System cover. 3. Locate the UV Lamp and its Stainless Steel Housing. See the picture for its replacement. 4. Remove the UV Ballast Wires that plug into the top of the UV Lamp. 5. Remove the UV lamp from the system. DO NOT remove the Quartz Sleeve (the glass piece) located between the actual lamp and the inside of the Stainless Steel Housing. 6. lnstall the replacement (new) UV Lamp by reversing Steps 5 and 4 above. Put the system cover back on. 8. Power on the System.
UV lamp lifetime reset: In STANDBY or PRE-OPERATE mode Press: "Measure + Cleaning + Menu" buttons together to enter the Service Mode Press 4 times on MENU button (SERVICE: RESET UV LAMP) Press MEASURE + CLEANING buttons together to confirm reset The UV lamp timer is reset for 365 days Press on MENU button for 2 seconds to return to start position The replacement procedure is now completed. The Milli-Q is now ready for use.
